I posted this comic on bluesky a couple weeks ago but I was in the middle of migrating both my wordpress sites to a new webhost company, so I didn't want to post something new while I was syncing everything up. (that was a fun week that required editing PHP, and also executing some SQL commands I definitely didn't understand! this is why people just accept rate hikes and terrible customer service! anyway, I have high hopes for nixihost, they've been good so far)

haven't posted here in awhile because I've been really focused on finishing the script for that graphic novel I've wanted to make for 5 years now. fruits of the spirit: searching for goodness and faith after leaving my childhood church is a memoir. I keep picking at that subtitle because it's so hard to title something with a snappy attention grabber, but also imply from the start that you're gonna treat everything with nuance and grace? the script is mostly done now and huge for a comics newbie — right now I'm planning 10 issues, each 10-12 pages.

so right now I'm focused on drawing those first 10 pages. when each issue is done, they're gonna go right here on this website. somewhere? apparently the wordpress plugin I'm using for comics allows for different "series", so I'll have to look into that. I also very badly want to print them. I wanna try being one of those weirdos with a zine table!

HOPE TANTRUM (the website) is two years old now. as everyone knows, toddlers throw some mighty tantrums, so I'm thinking that the best is yet to come...
