11AM: Panel 1: "Just Dance workout". Undignified arm flailing, leg in the air, a switch controller strapped to my wrist. Surrounded by music notes and "HUF HUF" Panel 2: Resting, stretching my arm behind my head. Thought: "A little better... ... Better than last week." The video game sound effects: "Superstar! (5 stars)"

12PM: Looking in the mirror, applying eyeliner brush. Text: "SELF-ESTEEM EYELINER" 1PM: The Valentine aisle at Target. I'm holding up a heart-shaped box from Fannie May. "If I buy chocolate, then I can paint it later." 2PM: Panel 1: Aloe and I in coats with our bags. Me, pointing: "Hey Al, did you want eighty empty homunculi?" Panel 2: The backs of our heads as we look at a giant shelf of Funko Pop boxes. Aloe: "Nah. I'm good."

3PM: Panel 1: "Checking in on Pokémon Go after the mall." Pikachu is waving, his head tilted. He says: "Your auto-catcher was disconnected the WHOLE TIME" Panel 2: Pikachu, over his shoulder: "Also none of your steps counted. LOL"

4PM: Panel 1: "MOMS! Has this happened to YOU?" An angular exaggerated mid-century drawing of a worried woman in an apron. I'm saying: "oh no! I forgot to buy protein for the chili" Panel 2: "Try: Texting any other adult who eats here!" The mid-century woman is cheerfully texting: "Jason would you please grab Popeye's on your way home?"

5PM: "d r a w i n'" Back to my normal drawing style. I'm on the couch with a lap desk and my feet up, focused. 6PM: A calico cat is looking up with sad eyes and an exaggerated frown. Text: "Sorry Tori... You can't have the spicy chicken."

7PM: Jason's joined me on the couch, where I'm still drawing. Arrow pointed to him: "Watching Some More News." Arrow pointed to me: "Distracted by how slow I draw." 8PM & onward: A glowing TV and the view from bed, two lumps where the people are sleeping. A cat is on one of the lumps. On the TV: "Bad game is good! Here's why." Text below: "Falling asleep to old video essays. cat on me"

I continue to paint my comics in "Famously Unscannable Blue." maybe I'll learn this lesson sometime
