this is a true story and a cautionary tale! bujo hubris is insidious
I became a bullet journaler in 2019 and the first thing I said was "this is just to manage my garbage attention span because nobody else can make a planner that works for me; I'm never going to let this habit turn me into a smug asshole" and then 2020 hit and I was unemployed and suddenly I had the time to do full page spreads that now I post to Instagram stories sometimes. This year I have a whole separate journal just for managing my garden, and maybe one day it'll occur to me that I'm quite possibly trying to document and control too many things....
